S3 BBC PRIMTIME VIEWER COMPETITION

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ENTRY: Participants of S3 BBC PRIMETIME Viewer Competition will be required to
   1. Watch the BBC PRIME TIME block that airs weeknights between 9pm -11pm
   1. S3 Digital will post a question pertaining to one of the shows on S3’s Tik Tok page.
   1. Answer the question on the post.
   1. Entrants will need to be following at least one of S3’s Social Media Accounts

• S3 Digital will choose 2 winners who will each win:

• 02 June 2025 – 13 June 2025
  • X2 BBC PRIMETIME Branded Power Banks
• 16 June – 27 June 2025
  • X1 Bluetooth Speaker

• Entrants will be required to read and fully understand the terms & conditions of entry on https://www.facebook.com/SABC3/and https://x.com/SABC3as well as on www.sabc3.co.za .

• The competition will start on the 02^nd of June 2025 and will end on the 27th of June 2025 at 23:59

• Entries will only be open on our TIK TOK platform via comments made on that particular day’s competition post.

• Entrants are encouraged to enter via commenting with the correct answer under the relevant competition post on S3’s TIK TOK account.

• ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open only to legal South African residents, over the age of 18 , Males and Females. Employees of the SABC (along with its contractors, affiliates and subsidiaries) and their families are not eligible

• S3 will deliver prizes to the winners within 60 days of announcing the winners.

• GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Participants hereby grant S3 a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the Submission of entry (along with their names, voices, performance and/or likenesses) in all media now known, or that later come into being, for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation. Participants represent and warrant that they have full legal right, power and authority to grant S3 the foregoing license and  if applicable, have secured all necessary rights from any participants in, and contributors to, their Submission in order to grant such a license.

• S3 is under no obligation to use any Submission or return the Submissions to participants.

1. USE OF CONTESTANT INFORMATION: All entries become the property of S3. S3 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including submissions provided by the contestants, for editorial, marketing and any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

1. NOT ENDORSED BY FACEBOOK AND TWITTER:

 By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any and all Digital Platforms upon which the competition as well as the campaign may be present. This includes:

  • X
  • TikTok
  • WhatsApp

1. Entrants release Social Media Platforms upon which the Competition as well as the Campaign may be present from any and all liability arising from, or related to, this contest. The information you are providing for this contest is being provided to S3 and not to any of the Social Media platforms on which S3 is present, and will be used to notify you if you have won.

1. CONDUCT: All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. S3 in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its web site or is otherwise in violation of these rules.

1. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: S3 is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, S3 may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. Entrants further agree to release S3 from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contest.

1. Contestants enter the competition at their wont risk. The SABC will not be liable for any injuries that occur during the period of the competition.

1. Judges & Auditors decision is final on all entries.
