Synopsis:- The ever-popular crime series returns, as DI Humphrey Goodman hopes to find love on the idyllic island of Saint Marie. When Jerome Martin, president of the Saint Marie’s local cricket club, is found shot dead in the middle of the cricket ground as the sun rises over the island, suspicion falls over his teammates.
Episode 5 – Wednesday, 2 April 2025
The first episode of a two-part special sees a murder investigation into the death of an enigmatic boat captain propel Humphrey, Dwayne and Florence to London in pursuit of their suspects.
Episode 6 – Monday, 7 April 2025
The second episode of this two-part special sees the team; along with Met police inspector Jack Mooney investigate the apparent suicide of banker and prime-suspect of their current case – Frank Henderson.

When a tourist returning to the island claims to alibi the convicted killer of the Saint Marie Times’ former editor seven years ago, DI Jack Mooney must revisit the case files and ensure that justice is delivered in his first murder investigation on the island

Saint Marie’s mayoral elections are thrown into disarray when Victor Pearce, local entrepreneur and odds on favourite to win, is stabbed in his polling booth just as he – and the other three candidates – cast their vote.
