Through the ages, humans have had a fascination with mediums and celebrities.

We bring them together in the TV series, Spirit, where viewers gain access to the “not-so-public-information” about some of Africa’s favourite personalities.

In an amazing collaboration with much-loved psychic medium Cindy Kruger,Spirit will premiere from the 1st of March 2020 at 19h30 on SABC 3.

Born with an incredible talent, Cindy recounts how she tried for years to supress her gift. It was only when she embraced it that she started connecting with what she describes as angels, offering healing through her readings. Cindy’s readings and messages have helped many people who have suffered loss or disappointment. She’s also helped people to find purpose, direction in life, and a renewed sense of positive energy.

Cindy is already well known for making guest appearances on various radio stations across South Africa, including SAFM, Radio Today and Lotus FM. Now she’s ready to use her intuitive abilities to provide more insights into peoples’ lives across the continent.

Spirit features celebrities across the African diaspora as well as ordinary folk. This season features iFani, Boity Thulo, Basketmouth, Anita Erskine, Miss Pru, Denrele, Navy Kenzo, Kim Jayde and Gigi Lamayne. Over the course of the series, Cindy offers guests’ clarity about certain life events, gives them insights into their concerns and worries, and helps them find closure and perhaps even enjoy when they connect with lost loved ones.

The series strikes the balance between highly entertaining and authentic, emotional viewing. Regardless of the guest or the outcome, the focus always remains healing and restoration.

Filmed on location in scenic Magaliesburg, each episode features three contributors – one celebrity coupled with one/two viewer entrants.

Make sure to tune into this new locally produced entertainment show and watch how it will connect African celebrities and viewers with loved ones who’ve passed, and offer closure to those who need it every Sunday at 19:30, on SABC 3 “The Stage Is Yours”.
