Last standing couple win SABC3's dating show The Longest Date
The first season of the of the most high-octane, extreme adventure dating competition reality show The Longest Date came to an emotional end last night, 6th May 2019 on SABC 3.
Contestants were between a rock and a hard place…when they were down to the final two couples. Reeling from Ruan and Joedy’s shock revelation, Sivaniel had to try and keep their heads in the game? Lindelana have never won a challenge, and they had to finally make good when it really counted. Viewers witnessed Sivaniel and Lindelana square up one final time to see who would take the crown and become The Longest Date champions.
The final challenge was harrowing and terrifying. The couples crossed a gorge on a single line to capture a flag and win the cash. In the first part the couples LindeLana and Sivenial went up against each other.
Sive Vaaltein and Daniel Senoamadi were declared the winners of the season. The couple was absolutely fantastic in the end.
A very emotional Lindelani Mqwa and Lana Katz lost, but felt they had won, because they found each other. Sive and Daniel then had to compete against each other. Daniel refused to leave Sive behind, and through great fear and many tears they pushed through.
In the end there could only be one winner who would walk away with the R100 000. Daniel had to decide on whether he was going to choose love or money. He chose love and split the R100 000 with Sive.Lats Last
