LOS ANGELES, CA…Tuesday, March 23, 2010 will mark the 23rd anniversary of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s premiere on the CBS Television Network.

Since the its premiere on March 23, 1987, the critically acclaimed series has received 143 Daytime Emmy® Award Nominations and 41 Daytime Emmy® Awards, including their first for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series in 2009, by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Additionally, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL has garnered worldwide acclaim, and in 2009 was named the recipient of the Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival awards ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, confirming that in its genre, with an estimated 35 million daily viewers, it remains the most watched daily drama in the world.

Created by the late daytime drama legend William J. Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell, their son Bradley P. Bell took the helm of the show in 1992.

Healing Power of Nature II

One of Hindu’s holiest cities, Benaras is the religious centrepiece for dreams and pilgrimages of many Indians.

Its holiness is concentrated around the Ganges River, which at this particular spot is said to rest upon the brow of the creator, lord Shiva, and sees more than a million Indian pilgrims visiting its banks each year.

It is so holy, in fact, that bathing in its waters is said to heal a person from all his lifetimes’ worth of bad karma, and dying on its banks, to send one straight to heaven. Like the river Styx, the Ganges at Benaras is a medium between the worlds of light and dark, living and dead.

The documentary uses the river’s narrative as a symbol of the many thousands of narratives that take place on its shores, and to explore the intricacies and inherent ironies surrounding concepts of purity, impurity, the holy and mundane which are acted out on its banks each day.

Everybody Hates Chris (EHC) is an American situation comedy inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock (who is also the narrator), while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York (often, if not always, referred to in the show as Bed-Stuy) in the early-mid 1980s.

Meet the cast
Tichina Arnold as Rochelle Rock
In 1986 Tichina Arnold appeared as in Little Shop of Horrors. Arnold was only 15 at the time, and her career continued steadily after that, with a role or two almost every year, including the films How I Got into College and Scenes from a Mall (1990). In February 1987 Arnold scored her first big break on television, with a permanent role on the soap opera Ryan's Hope. Her critically lauded role, as young heroine Zena Brown, landed her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 1988. She continued in the role until the series ended in January 1989. Arnold's best-known television role was Pamela James on Martin Lawrence's sitcom Martin (1992-1997). She also played the role of Nicole Barnes on the sitcom One on One. In 2000, she was reunited with Martin Lawrence in Big Momma's House. In 2007, she again reunited with Lawrence (this time as his wife) in the big screen road comedy/buddy film Wild Hogs. In 2003, she appeared in Civil Brand. In a departure from her normally comedic casting, she played the title role in The Lena Baker Story, which was about the first woman to be executed by the electric chair in Georgia.

Terry Crews as Julius Rock
A native of Flint, Michigan. Earned an Art Excellence Scholarship to attend Western Michigan University and also earned a full-ride athletic scholarship to play football. Crews was an All-Conference defensive end and was a major contributor on the 1988 MAC champion WMU Broncos. His college success was rewarded in 1991, when he was Drafted by the NFL's San Diego Chargers. Crews played six years in the NFL with stints at the L.A. Rams, San Diego Chargers, Rhein Fire (NFL Europe-Germany), Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. While in the NFL, used his art talent by painting a line of NFL licensed lithographs for Sierra Sun Editions. In 1996, Crews co-wrote and co-produced the independent feature film Young Boys Incorporated. Crews retired from the NFL in 1997 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Crews' first break came in 1999 when he auditioned for the extreme sports show called "Battle Dome" with other actor-athletes from around the country. Crews was chosen to be a series regular known as the urban warrior, T-Money. In 2000, Crews made his big screen debut in The 6th Day. Since then he has landed roles in Serving Sara (2002), Friday After Next (2002), Deliver Us from Eva (2003), Malibu's Most Wanted (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Soul Plane (2004), White Chicks (2004), and the Mike Judge film, Idiocracy (2006).

Tyler Williams as Chris Rock
Williams was born in Bedford Stuyvesant, New York. He previously starred in Little Bill as the voice of Bobby, briefly replacing Devon Malik Beckford in 2000, and played himself (or an eponymous character, "Tyler") on the children's show Sesame Street from 2002–2005. He has also guest-starred in Two for the Money, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the show Hijinks. In 2009, Williams will appear in the second season of True Jackson, VP as himself in the episode "Flirting with Fame". He stars in the feature film Unaccompanied Minors (2006). He recently made the "Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars under 21" list at #9 making US$1.2 million.

Tequan Richmond as Drew Rock
Young and full of energy, Tequan (Tuh-kwon) Richmond had big plans going into a television and film career. It has been only a few years since this Burlington, North Carolina native arrived in Los Angeles and he has already begun taking Hollywood by storm. He has appeared in a national Spalding basketball commercial with Boston Celtic's Paul Pierce, as well as national commercials for Verizon Wireless, Nintendo DS, McDonald's, Brand Jordan, Sears and currently Tide. There are a couple of magazine ads in which you'll find Tequan; one being Scott's Turfbuilder lawn fertilizer in magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Reader's Digest, Newsweek, and National Geographic as well as a national Nestle print ad and a national Tide ad. Tequan has been one of six hosts for kids' TV shows on the Toon Disney Channel and has had guest-starring roles on the CBS show Cold Case, ER, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Madtv, The Shield and Strong Medicine. Tequan also appeared as Ray Charles, Jr. (9-10 yrs.) in Ray. Tequan landed his first pilot for CBS a very short time after arriving in Los Angeles. He starred in The Law and Mr. Lee. Tequan's greatest career accomplishment has been in the hit television comedy Everybody Hates Chris.
While Tequan does not plan on laying his acting career to rest just yet, he is now trying his hand at producing all genres of music. Tequan also enjoys playing basketball.

Imani Hakim as Tanya Rock
Imani Hakim stars as Tonya, Chris' younger sister, the coddled baby of the family, in UPN's new comedy Everybody Hates Chris. After showing a natural interest in acting at age 7, Hakim began studying acting at Cleveland's historic Karamu House Theater. At Karamu House, Hakim appeared in stage productions of Who Stole the Baby Jesus, Cinderella and The Hobbit. She has also studied at Alexander's Workshop in Lakewood, CA, and The Young Actor's Space in Burbank, CA.

Vincent Martella as Greg
Even though he is one of the newest additions to the Disney family, Vincent Martella is no stranger to the entertainment industry. In addition to playing the lead role of ‘Phineas' on Disney's new hit animated series, and now Emmy nominated Phineas and Ferb, Martella is also shooting his fourth season as one of the leads on the CW comedy, Everybody Hates Chris. However, this role which Martella landed almost four years ago is far from his first time in front of the camera. Born and raised in Florida, Martella began dancing at the age of three, and delivered his first live performance in The Nutcracker. Not long after, Martella was performing in school plays, appearing in local commercial spots as well as attending acting, piano, and vocal training. By the tender age of seven, Martella was one of the hottest kids in the Central Florida market, working both print and national commercials. It soon became clear that Martella was ready for a bigger market: Los Angeles. During his first trip to L.A., he landed a guest spot on Fox's Cracking Up and a recurring role on Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified. The following summer, Vincent nabbed his first film role in Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo. Since then, Vincent has guest starred on the Stacked and lent his voice to the feature film Bad News Bears. Vincent stayed busy while on hiatus from Everybody Hates Chris and in fact he shot the Universal film Role Models and also the film Baitshop.
This young thespian, known for his quick wit and impersonations, is also a musician. It is obvious that Martella is very passionate about performing, whether it be by singing, dancing or acting and that he has a very bright future before him. Martella currently splits his time living in Los Angeles while working and Florida with his mother, father and three siblings.

Chris Rock as the Narrator
Chris Rock was raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, which is in Brooklyn, New York. He has been in stand-up comedy for over twelve years. He made his big screen debut in Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and spent three years on the cast of Saturday Night Live (1975). He does commercials for 1-800 Collect and Nike and covered the presidential campaign for the show Politically Incorrect (1994). He now lives in Alpine, New Jersey.

Isidingo Talent Search Special

The final phase of the Isidingo Talent Search will be played out in an hour-long special on the 11th of March at 9pm. The special will see the five finalists, who were picked from more than a thousand aspiring actors across the country, outwit and outperform each other in the hope of winning the hearts of SABC3 viewers as well as those of the panel of judges.

The hour long special will see the finalists professionally act out the part of “Ace”. They will be tasked with delivering their best performance thus far at the soapies’ set, dressed by the casts’ stylist and acting alongside some of the soapies’ leading names. SABC3 viewers will have the chance to experience the finalists’ journey from their first audition to the final crunch-down where the rightful ‘Ace’ will claim the hearts of his fans. The show will be presented by Chris Beasley, popularly known as Len Cooper, who will take us on a behind the scenes journey and unveil a bit of the hopefuls’ ‘dirt’ and ‘flaws’.

The winner will be announced on the 12th of March live on 3Talk with Noeleen, where the finalists will be interviewed on their experience and hopes fro the future.

The Search Continues

Bloemfontein

The search begun on the 8th of February at the city of ‘Roses’, Bloemfontein in the Free State. The aim was to find the gem that will grace our viewers with his charm, good looks and intellect. When the search team arrived at the region’s SABC offices the crowds of hopefuls were eagerly waiting to dazzle our judges, creator of Isidingo Gray Hofmeyer, The Star Tonight’s Debashine Thangevelo and our very own brand manager Mpotseng Lebentlele, with their talent. For a small city the turnout was outstanding with aspirant males coming from as far as Ladysmith and Kimberley. The talent was as colourful and vibrant as the city’s fashion sense, with the likes of Pule Ndaba and Angelo Mockie being chosen as the region’s finalists.

It was an amazing experience for both the search team and the ambitious undiscovered actors and certainly set the tone for the next four regions that our team will be visiting.

We loved Bloem and believe that this small city will definitely produce some of the best talent this country will see.

Port Elizabeth

Next stop was in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth – the hopefuls in this region were dressed the part and definitely looked as if they had just popped out of a TV scene.

The venue was the City Hall and according to the region’s SABC staff members some of the hopefuls were too eager to wait for the 10th of February and decided to camp outside the SABC offices to be the first to jet off to the City Hall and charm the panel. The talent in PE was not as breathtaking as what we had discovered during the first auditions. However, the excitement, paired with nerves, was as jubilant as that we had experienced two days prior.

Next stop – the Zulu Kingdom at the Durban SABC Offices on Old Fort Road, the 12th of February from 8am. See you then!

The Starter Wife

The Starter Wife, based on the best-selling novel by Gigi Levangie Grazer, chronicles the events of one woman's life following her divorce after years of marriage to a Hollywood studio executive. Debra Messing (Will & Grace, Ned and Stacy) stars in the mini-series. Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon (Runaway Bride, 3 Men and a Little Lady) wrote the screenplay, and the Emmy-nominated Jon Avnet (Uprising, The Burning Bed, Fried Green Tomatoes) has directed and produced the event.

The mini-series was nominated for ten Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie (Debra Messing), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie (Joe Mantegna) and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie (Judy Davis). Davis was the sole winner. Messing was also nominated for a 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or a TV Movie and a 2008 SAG Award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie.

Meet the Cast:
Debra Messing as Molly Kagan
In 1993, Messing won praise for her acting in the pre-Broadway workshop production of Tony Kushner's play Angels in America: Perestroika. Subsequently, she appeared in several episodes of the television series NYPD Blue during 1994 and 1995. In 1995, Messing made her film debut in A Walk in the Clouds. This exposure led the Fox network to make her the co-star of the television sitcom, Ned & Stacey. Messing appeared in two episodes of the series Seinfeld. She also co-starred in McHale's Navy in 1997.
In 1998, Messing played a lead role in Prey. During this time her agent approached her with the pilot script for the television show Will & Grace. She auditioned and landed the role of Grace Adler. Will & Grace became a ratings success, and Messing gained renown. In 2002, she was named one of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" by People Magazine. TV Guide picked her as its "Best Dressed Woman" in 2003. Messing was cast in Hollywood Ending. Her film roles since include The Mothman Prophecies (2002) and Along Came Polly (2004). The Wedding Date (2005) was Messing's first leading role in a high-profile film.

Judy Davis as Joan McAllister
First coming to prominence for her role in My Brilliant Career (1979), for which she won BAFTA Awards for Best Actress and Best Newcomer, she also played the lead in such Australian New Wave classics as Winter of Our Dreams (1981) and Heatwave (1982). Her first foray into international film came in 1981 in A Woman Called Golda. In 1984 she was cast in A Passage to India. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. She returned to Australian cinema for her next two films, Kangaroo and Hightide. She earned Australian Film Institute Awards for both roles, and a National Society of Film Critics award for Hightide's brief American theatrical run. In 1991 she was featured in Barton Fink, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and in Naked Lunch. She won an Independent Spirit Award for her lively work in Impromptu and returned to E.M. Forster territory in Where Angels Fear to Tread. Also in the One Against the Wind. In 1992 she played a major role in Husbands and Wives. For this performance she earned both Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for best supporting actress. Other roles have included On My Own (1993), Children of the Revolution (1996), Deconstructing Harry (1997),Celebrity (1998), Absolute Power (1997), Swimming Upstream (2003), The Break-Up and Marie-Antoinette.
She starred in The Ref (1994). Much of her recent work has been on television, where she has scooped up an impressive collection of Emmy Award nominations. She won her first Emmy in Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story and she picked up subsequent nominations in The Echo of Thunder (1998), Lilly (1999), A Cooler Climate (1999) and The Reagans (2003). She earned a second Emmy, in the 2001 Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. In July 2006, she received her ninth Emmy nomination for her performance in A Little Thing Called Murder. Her tenth nomination came in 2007 for The Starter Wife, Davis went on to win the Emmy. In August 2007 she appeared in an episode of Masters of Science Fiction. In 2004 she starred in and co-directed Victory.

Miranda Otto as Cricket Stewart
Otto's first post-graduation film role in 1991, in The Girl Who Came Late, was her breakthrough role. Her appearance garnered Otto her first Australian Film Institute nomination for "Best Actress" the following year. Otto's next role was in the film The Last Days of Chez Nous. The film earned Otto her second Australian Film Institute nomination, this time for "Best Supporting Actress". In 1993, Otto co-starred in The Nostradamus Kid. A small role in the independent film Sex Is a Four Letter Word followed in 1995.
Otto starred in Love Serenade (1996). In 1996 Otto was cast in Serenade. Otto's first starring roles were in the 1997 films The Well and Doing Time for Patsy Cline. Otto's next project was the romantic comedy Dead Letter Office (1998). In the Winter Dark followed later that year. The film was a critical success in Australia, and Otto was nominated for her fourth Australian Film Institute Award. A small role in the big-budget World War II film The Thin Red Line, led to further film roles outside of Australia, such as in Italy, where she co-starred in La volpe a tre zampe ("The Three-legged Wolf"). Otto's first Hollywood role was in the suspense thriller What Lies Beneath in 2000. In 2001, Otto was cast in Human Nature. That same year, she also appeared in The Way We Live Now. In 2003 Otto starred in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Otto's next project was the Australian television miniseries Through My Eyes: The Lindy Chamberlain Story (2004). At the 2005 Logie Awards, Otto won "Most Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series" for her role. In the same year she starred in War of the Worlds. In 2007.

Chris Diamantopoulos as Rodney Evans
Chris Diamantopoulos (born May 9, 1975) is a Greek Canadian actor. Born in Toronto, Canada, Diamantopoulos portrayed Robin Williams in a television movie about the behind-the-scenes drama during the making of Mork and Mindy. He has guest-starred in several series, including Kevin Hill, Charmed, Nip/Tuck, and Boston Legal. He currently has a recurring role on the Lifetime drama Series State of Mind. He also guest voiced on American Dad! in 2009. Diamantopoulos has reportedly signed on for the eighth season of 24. Diamantopoulos has been married to actress Becki Newton since May 12, 2005.

Peter Jacobson as Kenny Kagan
Jacobson was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Jewish Chicago news anchor Walter Jacobson. He is a 1987 graduate of Brown University and a 1991 graduate of Juilliard. Jacobson has played a recurring role on Law & Order. In 2005, Jacobson starred in the Academy Award-nominated film, Good Night, and Good Luck. He also appeared on Scrubs, CSI: Miami, The Lost Room, The Starter Wife, Transformers and The Midnight Meat Train. More recently he has appeared on House In October 2007, he was confirmed as a regular on the show. He made a guest appearance on USA Network's Royal Pains. Jacobson played Alan, the nebbishy husband of Rachel, played by Brooklyn Decker. He also has a cameo in Tony Scott's 2005 film Domino.

Stephen Moyer as Sam Knight
Stephen Moyer (born Stephen John Emery; 11 October 1969) is an English actor who has starred as in True Blood since 2008. Moyer was born in Brentwood, Essex. He attended St Martin's School, a comprehensive school in Hutton, Essex, and graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He became Brentwood Theatre's first patron in October 2007, especially supporting their "Reaching Out, Building On" campaign to help fund the 2008 completion of backstage facilities. After graduating from LAMDA, Stephen Moyer worked in theatre for five years. He worked with the National Theatre of Wales, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Oxford Stage Company, work which included going on tour and playing Romeo in productions of Romeo and Juliet. He then made the transition to television and film.

Joe Mantegna as Lou Manahan
Joseph Anthony “Joe” Mantegna, Jr. (born November 13, 1947) is an American Tony Award-winning actor, producer, writer and director. He is best known for his roles in box-office hits such as Three Amigos (1986), The Godfather Part III (1990), Forget Paris (1995), Up Close & Personal (1996), and The Simpsons Movie (2007). Mantegna has gained Emmy Award nominations for his roles in three different miniseries, The Last Don (1997), The Rat Pack (1999) and The Starter Wife (2007). Mantegna served as executive producer for various movies and television movies, such as Corduroy (1984), Hoods (1998), and Lakeboat (2000), which he also directed. On television, Mantegna starred in the short lived series First Monday (2002), Joan of Arcadia (2003-2005). Since the 1991 Simpsons’ episode "Bart the Murderer" Mantegna has had a recurring role on the animated comedy series The Simpsons as mob boss Fat Tony. In 2007 Mantegna replaced Mandy Patinkin as a main character of the hit drama series Criminal Minds.

Anika Noni Rose as Lavender
Rose moved to New York without a job, and after three months she secured the role in Broadway's Footloose. Rose's big Broadway break was getting cast in Caroline, or Change. In 2004, Rose was awarded the Theatre World Award, Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actress and the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, for Caroline, or Change. Rose's debut in movies came with the 1999 film King of the Bingo Game. In 2003, she played the role of Kaya in From Justin to Kelly; in 2004 she performed in Temptation, followed by Surviving Christmas. In 2006, Rose starred in Dream Girls. Rose is scheduled to appear in the films Just Add Water, Razor, and in Disney's upcoming animated feature The Princess and the Frog as the voice of the lead character Tiana. She also stars alongside Jill Scott in The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.

Meet the cast:

Dylan Walsh as Dr. Sean McNamara
Walsh's first role was in a television movie called Soldier Boys with James Earl Jones. He then landed a role in the movie Loverboy and a regular role on the television series Kate & Allie. In 1989, he started using the name Dylan Walsh professionally. He continued to work in films, such as Betsy's Wedding, Congo, and playing Paul Newman's son in Nobody's Fool, as well as making television appearances in shows like the police drama Brooklyn South, The Twilight Zone and more recently, Everwood. In 2003, Walsh landed the role of Sean McNamara on Nip/Tuck, after being approached by series creator Ryan Murphy in a coffee shop. Murphy remembered him from his role in Nobody's Fool and in a TV movie.
On November 12, 2007, it was announced that Walsh would star in the remake of The Stepfather, reviving the role made famous by Terry O'Quinn. Production for the film began in 2008 and the film was released in October 2009.

Julian McMahon as Dr. Christian Troy
Julian McMahon was born to Sir William and Lady Sonia McMahon. The late Sir William was the former Prime Minister of Australia. Julian studied law at the University of Sydney, but he became bored after one year and began a career in modelling, working primarily in commercials. In 1987, he began print modelling assignments in Los Angeles, New York, Milan, Rome and Paris. His appearance in a TV commercial promoting jeans in his home country made him popular enough to be cast as the lead in The Power, the Passion (1989). After 18 months on the series, he starred in Home and Away (1988), another successful series, where he won a best actor award from a national magazine. McMahon later performed on stage, appearing in a musical version of Home and Away as well as in Love Letters. After a lead role in the feature film Wet and Wild Summer! (1992), he went to Hollywood to read for American projects. In 1992, he was cast on Another World (1964). After two years, he left to appear in several plays in Los Angeles. He also appeared in the feature film Magenta (1996) before landing a role on Profiler (1996). In his free time, McMahon enjoys surfing, biking, and cooking. He is a fan of baseball, football and basketball, and he collects classic books.

Joely Richardson as Julia McNamara
For Joely the theatre must be in her genes. Daughter of Tony Richardson and Vanessa Redgrave, and granddaughter of actor Sir Michael Redgrave, she is the niece of Lynn Redgrave and her sister Natasha Richardson is also an actress. Former husband Tim Bevan is a producer. However the genes were slow - as a child she saw her older sister Natasha interested in acting but she was imagining a career in tennis. Her father put his foot down, and tennis was out. British by birth, she considers herself a sort of honorary Yank, having attended boarding school at Thacher in Ojai, California. Beginning in the 80s film became her life, from small parts in Wetherby (1985) to BBC dramas such as Lady Chatterley (1993) (TV) to today's Disney studio going to the dogs in 101 Dalmatians (1996).

John Hensley as Matt McNamara
Born in KY, John's parents divorced when he was 3. He and his sister split their time between both parents, but did not seem to mind this arrangement. John did not intend on acting until he tried out for a
school play. Although he was not cast, he was hooked on acting, and decided to take a week long trip to New York, where he met his future manager. John says that he would have been just as content to rangle horses on the farm, if acting had not panned out. He had not decided to choose acting as a permanent career, until he had gotten the call back from his soon-to-be manager.

Roma Maffia as Dr. Liz Cruz
From a hit television drama to a medley of feature films, Roma Maffia graces the entertainment mediums with her trademark sophistication and charismatic appeal. Most recently, Roma wrapped production on Yonkers Joe. She also completed production on the crime story Kingshighway. Also in the can is the psychological thriller, Ghost Image. Roma started her acting career performing off-Broadway, off-off Broadway and in regional productions ranging from Shakespeare to Sam Shephard. At a benefit reading for the New Group in New York, she was asked by casting director Jane Jenkins to audition for a role in The Paper. Roma took her first trip to Hollywood and her career quickly flourished. She soon met television producer David E. Kelley, who cast her as in Chicago Hope. Roma then landed a plum role in Disclosure. Roma quickly landed feature film roles in Nick of Time, Eraser and Double Jeopardy. Additional feature credits include I Am Sam; Kiss The Girls; Holes, Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her. For television, Roma starred in Profiler. Her telefilm credits include Consensual Relations; Mistrial and The Defenders. She had recurring roles on Law & Order and ER, and she has guest-starred on numerous television shows, including Ghost Whisperer, Strong Medicine, The West Wing and The Sopranos. In her free time, Roma is actively involved with the non-profit organization. Although she is happiest when acting, Roma also finds time to run on her treadmill, write, play ping-pong and hang out with her two dogs, Lou Lu and Lucky.

Kelly Carlson as Kimber Henry
Known to many as Kimber Henry on the FX surgery drama Nip/Tuck, Kelly Carlson is a model-turned-actress who was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. An alumna of the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, Minnesota, Kelly began her acting career performing in small local stage productions. She then entered the modeling world, appearing in ad campaigns for products such as Miller Lite, Oliver People Sunglasses, Rembrandt, to name a few. During her early years in the acting business, she also did photoshoots for a couple of men's magazines. In 2001, Carlson made her screen debut with a bit part as a biker babe in 3000 Miles to Graceland. It wasn't until 2003 that Kelly caught the biggest break of her career as she was tapped to portray a Miami model/porn star in the pilot episode of Nip/Tuck. For the show's first two years, she held on to a recurring role as the girlfriend of Dr. Christian Troy, played by Julian McMahon. She then became a series regular as the third season began. Kelly also made guest appearances on other TV shows, namely Everwood, CSI, and CSI: Miami. During her stint on the FX drama series, Carlson also took on movie projects -- playing Pvt. Charlie Soda in the direct-to-video sequel, Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004) and the onscreen wife of WWE superstar John Cena in The Marine (2006). While promoting their movie together, Kelly made several appearances on various events for the World Wrestling Entertainment franchise. In 2008, she was also seen in the Patrick Dempsey romantic comedy, Made of Honor.

Linda Klein is an American registered nurse and actress best known for her recurring role as Nurse Linda on the television shows Grey's Anatomy and Nip/Tuck.

Valerie Cruz as Grace Santiago
Valerie Cruz was born July 18, 1976 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. Valerie is of Cuban ancestry is an American actress. She attended Florida State University and received a BFA theatre degree. She has appeared in films such as The Shooter and Cellular and starred as Grace Santiago on the first season of Nip/Tuck. She has also made guest appearances in series such as Grey's Anatomy and Las Vegas. In 2007 she took on the role of Connie Murphy, a tough Chicago police detective, in SciFi Channel's The Dresden Files. In 2008 it was announced that Cruz will play the wife of Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado (played by Jimmy Smits) on season three of the Showtime hit Dexter.

This holiday Ritu brings along a friend, Jia. Jia, quite childish, now lives with her divorcée mom in Brisbane, Australia, resents her lifestyle, especially after her mom started living with another man. When Rita sprains her ankle, both Vijay and Jia are thrown into each other's company.

Amrita notices that Vijay suddenly starts singing to himself, then bursting into uncontrollable fits of laughter. Then all of a sudden, Ritu asks Jia to leave the household, but is prevented by Vijay.

Things spiral out of control when Amrita's brother, Shridhar, arrives for a short visit, and finds out that Vijay and Jia have pledged their love for each other. Watch the impact this news has on Amrita.

In a mountainous South American country, drug-dealing rebels kidnap Peter Bowman, a US engineer who works for an oil company's subsidiary.

The company calls in a negotiator, Terry Thorne (Russell Crowe), an Aussie ex-soldier based in London. When the subsidiary goes bankrupt, the oil company washes its hands of the matter and pulls Thorne. Bowman's wife Alice (Meg Ryan) begs him to stay.

She and Peter's sister cobble together some money, Thorne talks ransom terms with the cash-strapped rebels, and Peter, chained high in the mountains, is sustained by a photo of Alice.

When the politics of the situation change, so must Thorne's strategy. And what can Alice and he do about the attraction growing between them?

Sam (Ted Danson), a former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, owns and runs Cheers, a cozy bar in Boston. Somewhat snobby, beautiful and intelligent Diane (Shelley Long) - forced to become a waitress when her fiancé jilts her, constantly bickers with Sam. Eventually, they fall in love. Several wacky characters make the bar their home-away-from-home, including sarcastic waitress Carla (Rhea Perlman), beer-loving Norm (George Wendt) and Boston letter carrier Cliff (John Ratzenberger). A few seasons later, Sam sells the bar to buy a boat and sail around the world. But his boat sinks and he returns to bartending. Rebecca (Kirstie Alley), the new (more ambitious) manager, hires him back. They love to hate each other and eventually get together as well.

Over 26 episode series four candidates aged between 16 and 17 will be placed in four real job situations.

They will work under pressure to meet deadlines, will have to answer to their bosses, will experience what the job environment is all about, and work on a major project.

Each week the candidates will work on a task received from their manager or supervisor and will compete against each other for the ultimate prize to be given at the end of the series.

It will inspire and present to the children (12 -15) to different careers and also giving them an insight into these careers.

When Mode is forced to abandon its big Christmas photo shoot because another magazine has copied the idea, Betty forms an uneasy alliance with Marc and Amanda. The three fear they may have leaked the idea to someone at the rival mag (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez, "The OC") during happy hour . . . and that their jobs will be history if anyone finds out. It's Halloween and Betty is in for a series of frightful experiences, ranging from showing up dressed for the Mode costume contest . . . only to learn there isn't one, to dealing with her growing attraction to Henry (guest star Christopher Gorham, "Jake 2.0") -- while a jealous Walter fumes -- and, worst of all, tracking down a watch Daniel left at one of his many girlfriends' apartments (he just can't remember which one). Meanwhile, Daniel pays a visit to his mom (guest star Judith Light, "Who's the Boss?") in rehab, and Wilhelmina is horrified to learn that she can't fit into a designer gown.

Big Trouble

A chain of events starts with the arrival of a mysterious suitcase in Miami. Arthur Herk (Stanley Tucci), a corrupt business owner, wants to get his hands on the case. At the same time, two hit men want him whacked.

Tired of his constant fixation on drinking and television, Herk's wife Anna (Rene Russo) and daughter Jenny decide to find new love interests in divorced dad Eliot Arnold (Tim Allen) and his son Matt.

To add more complication, two thieves decide to steal the case and lead a Miami police team and two FBI agents on a wild goose chase that ends inside the Miami airport terminal.
